The classroom in 2021 has changed! Current classrooms have more diversity, culture and various ways to approach learning. It is an exciting time for educators and students. Classroom now reflect the diverse learning needs. The BC Curriculum has changed to meet the growing needs of a fast paced, technological society. First Peoples Principles have been incorporated into the classroom in support of the learner. The Professional Standards for Educators has been updated to reflect the changes in the classroom as well. In addition, no longer is the classroom viewed as the only learning arena. Culture, family and life experiences are valued and included in classroom learning.
